Have you always wanted to experience what it\u2019s like to work with metal? During this hands-on workshop, you\u2019ll create a unique metal piece under expert guidance that you can take home with you afterward.<\/p>\n
After a welcome with coffee, tea, and cookies, you\u2019ll receive an introduction to the various metalworking techniques covered in the workshop. You\u2019ll then learn the basics of cutting, bending, and rolling sheet and strip metal. Of course, we\u2019ll pay close attention to working safely in the workshop.<\/p>\n
An important part of the workshop is the introduction to MIG\/MAG welding. After an explanation of the technique and safety rules, each participant will first make a test weld. Then you\u2019ll get to work creating a product of your choice. You\u2019ll work in pairs and can choose from six different designs.<\/p>\n
Whether you\u2019ve never held a welding machine before or are simply curious about metalworking: this workshop is open to everyone and offers a fun introduction to traditional craftsmanship.<\/p>\n
