Price:<\/strong> \u20ac65. This includes bus transport to and from Rotterdam, the sailing trip, coffee\/tea and cake, and a Sailor\u2019s Lunch (soup, luxury sandwiches, dessert). Any additional drinks can be purchased on board at your own expense.<\/p>\n

The programme<\/strong><\/p>\n

09:00<\/strong> \u2013 Departure by bus from the TU Delft Aula.<\/p>\n

10:00<\/strong> \u2013 In the historic Leuvehaven, in the heart of Rotterdam, we will be welcomed with coffee, tea and \u201cHelena\u201d cake. Once everyone is on board, the skipper will tell about the remarkable history of Europe\u2019s oldest inland shipping vessel, safety on board, and the plans for the sailing trip.<\/p>\n

10:30<\/strong> \u2013 Cast off! Everyone is warmly invited to help hoist the sails and take a turn at the helm. Of course, you can also simply relax on deck and enjoy the surroundings. There is plenty to see along the way: first leaving the city, passing numerous bridges and shipyards, heading toward the world-famous windmills of Kinderdijk.<\/p>\n

12:30<\/strong> \u2013 The ship\u2019s cook will serve a delicious Sailor\u2019s Lunch.<\/p>\n
