About the world record attempt
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 3:14 p.m. (pi is 3.14 in English), EWI department EEMCS is organizing a special world record attempt: they will attempt to form the largest human Pi symbol in the world. This record attempt is a festive warm-up for Pi Day (March 14) and brings together interested parties, students, staff, and associations around mathematics and science.
