Silver Clay jewellery

It’s relaxing and sometimes frustrating to be creative and this workshop could be just your thing or a creative challenge! What could you make? A charm for a bracelet or chain (a chain is not included in the price) earrings.

What is silver clay?
Silver clay is a material, invented in the 1990s, made up of fine silver particles (usually recycled from the photographic industry, X-rays, electronic devices etc), an organic plant based binder and water. The clay can be moulded, rolled, textured and shaped. We then leave it to dry, file and refine the piece before firing it in a jewellery kiln. The resulting silver piece can then be polished ready to wear! The resulting silver is of hallmark quality.

This is a beginners workshop and a ring will not be made during the workshop.

A silver clay workshop is a long workshop and there are resting times. We will arrange some snacks.
