Metalworking Workshop

Have you always wanted to experience what it’s like to work with metal? During this hands-on workshop, you’ll create a unique metal piece under expert guidance that you can take home with you afterward.

After a welcome with coffee, tea, and cookies, you’ll receive an introduction to the various metalworking techniques covered in the workshop. You’ll then learn the basics of cutting, bending, and rolling sheet and strip metal. Of course, we’ll pay close attention to working safely in the workshop.

An important part of the workshop is the introduction to MIG/MAG welding. After an explanation of the technique and safety rules, each participant will first make a test weld. Then you’ll get to work creating a product of your choice. You’ll work in pairs and can choose from six different designs.

Whether you’ve never held a welding machine before or are simply curious about metalworking: this workshop is open to everyone and offers a fun introduction to traditional craftsmanship.
