Mobius Sculpture workshop

Learn about sculpting using soapstone or alabaster. Your stone will have been carved into a disc for you, with a diameter of about 12cm.

Using the techniques and tools demonstrated you will be able to create a Mobius, a spatial figure of which only one area has an edge. It’s a 3 dimensional shape and shows the contrast between the inside and outside. A fascinating object to create and we are sure you will enjoy this workshop which takes place in the Delftse Hout and includes lunch. The workshop starts at 10am and finished around 4pm.

A Mobius is not the easiest shape to create but we are sure with the pointers the docent gives you will manage just fine and go home with a unique piece o stone and perhaps a new hobby..
