Illustration drawing lesson, Quentin Blake style | October 8th

Date: 8 October 2026 19:30

Location: Lange Geer 44A, 2611 PW Delft

PRICE: 30,00

In this workshop, you’ll get to work with one of children’s book illustrators’ favorite techniques: working with a dip pen and ink. Once the ink is dry and waterproof, you’ll color your illustration with watercolor paints.

The main source of inspiration for this evening is the famous illustrator Quentin Blake, a master of spontaneous and expressive drawing. You’ll learn how to bring characters to life with loose lines and plenty of personality. The focus isn’t on perfect anatomy, but rather on your character’s posture, movement, and presence. It’s a fun and creative way to let go of your perfectionism for a while and learn to draw freely!
