Help out at Jarige Job

Stichting Jarige Job is a foundation set up to ensure that all children can celebrate their birthday in style, even if their family hits financial hard times.

What do they do?
For children of all age groups they collect new gifts. In addition to the gift, decorations, cake mix, wrapping paper and more all go into a birthday box that is delivered to the family just before the birthday which is to be celebrated.
A group of Prometheus members is invited to go along to their location in Rotterdam at the Van Nelle Factory.  At their location we will learn more about their work and then it is time for us to help out. All of the components which go into a Birthday box are placed along a production line and it's our task to put the boxes together. How many boxes can we put together?

We hope you will join us at this worthy cause, you can choose to take part in the morning or afternoon.

We will arrange return transport to Rotterdam. We will also arrange lunch for both groups. An indication of the programme is below:

09.15 am      Morning Group Bus departs from the Aula
09:50 am     Coffee and Tea on arrival
10:00 am     Introduction Stichting Jarige Job
10:30 am     Packing Birthday Boxes commences
12:30 pm     Finish packing and group picture
12.00 noon Afternoon group bus leaves the Aula
12:25 pm      Coffee and tea, lunch preparation
12:45 pm      Lunch for both groups
1.15 pm         Morning team returns to the Aula
1.30pm         Introduction Stichting Jarige Job 
2 pm              Packing Birthday Boxes commences
4pm              Finish and team photo
Travel back to the Aula
