Biesbosch boat trip

The ship company, where we reserved the ship for our trip around the Biesbosch with a departure from Dordrecht has an internal problem which makes the departure from Dordrecht a problem. We will now sail in the ship shown above and depart from Heusden.

The boating part of our day is around 6 hours.. After boarding in Heusden we will sail on a dammed part of the river Maas towards Woudrichem; then onto Werkendam and via the Steurgat the Biesbosch. Returning back to Heusden via Drimmelen. Tip: Bring binoculars.

At the end of the day you will have some time in Heusden to see more of this pretty fortified city which dates it’s history back to around 1200.

Whilst we pass by Dutch landscape you can enjoy lunch which is included in the price. Drinks are extra.

The member must attend. Tickets include lunch so please, mention any food allergies that you may have. Please get in touch with the Prometheus office if you would like to bring your children along.
