Boating in the Biesbosch

Our day will start at the Aula where we board the bus to Heusden, a pretty fortified town which dates it’s history back to around 1200. Once in Heusden we will go to the ship and get ready for departure We will sail on a dammed part of the river Maas towards Woudrichem; then onto Werkendam and via the Steurgat we will enter the Biesbosch. Returning back to Heusden via Drimmelen. Our boar trip lasts around 6 hours. Tip: Bring binoculars.

At the end of the day you will have some time in Heusden to see more of this pretty fortified city which dates it’s history back to around 1200.

Whilst we pass by Dutch landscape you can enjoy lunch which is included in the price. Drinks are extra.
