Frequently Asked Questions – Family Party TU Delft 2026

Ticket sales start on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026, at the Prometheus office in the Aula. A ticket costs €5,- per person. Both children and adults need their own ticket. The office is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.

Please bring your TU Delft campus card when purchasing tickets. Tickets are personal and non-transferable.

Yes. Keep your tickets safe and bring them to the Aula. You will also need them to collect your gift.

You are welcome at the Aula from 12:00 noon. The program runs until approximately 4:30 p.m.

From 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m., there will be a variety of activities for children, including arts and crafts, face painting, glitter tattoos, games, bouncy castles, go-karts, a photobooth and an ice rink. There will also be a separate toddler area for the youngest visitors.

The ice rink is suitable for children aged 2 and up. Children must always be supervised by a parent or guardian.

If your child wants to skate, please remember to bring gloves.

No. Skates in various sizes, as well as skating aids, will be available.

The main show in the Auditorium is scheduled from 3:00 to 4:15 p.m. There will be music and lighting effects. During one part of the show, the hall will become quite dark.

Children will receive a snack box on arrival. Coffee and tea for adults will be provided by Coffeestar, along with a biscuit from Piece of Cake. Water and squash will also be available. The squash bar is in the foyer on the first floor.

Gluten-free and lactose-free cookies are also available for adults. The snack boxes for children contain a variety of snacks. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate all food allergies and dietary restrictions.

This year, you can also buy a vegetarian or regular hot-dog sandwich. These are available in the foyer on the first floor. Payment for sandwiches is by card only.

We recommend bringing your own cup for coffee, tea, water and squash.

After the main show, children can collect a gift and have their photo taken with Sinterklaas and a Piet.

8–11 years

No. You can collect the present later from the Prometheus office during the week after the party. Please bring your child’s admission ticket. Exceptions can be made for families with young children.

Children aged 0–3 can collect their present in the Senate Hall after the program has ended.

The Aula is a large building with stairs and several floors. As there will be many children and visitors, please keep a close eye on your children and do not let them walk around unsupervised.

Go to the service desk in the Aula’s central hall. You can also collect a wristband there and write your phone number on it.

Yes, photographs will be taken during the Family Party. If you would prefer not to be recognisable in the photos, please collect a lanyard from the service desk.

Yes, first aid will be available. Please report any accidents to the service desk in the central hall.

Yes, earplugs are available from the service desk.

Yes, there is a cloakroom, but it is unattended. Use of the cloakroom is at your own risk.

The changing area is on the second floor, to the left of the Senate Hall, in the accessible toilet.

Yes. You can breastfeed in Project Room North. Please ask the service desk for access.
