SAIL Amsterdam

SAIL Amsterdam is a huge Maritime event which takes place in Amsterdam once every 5 years. The centre of Amsterdam, around Central station is the stage for this huge event which features all types of ships. Prometheus will visit Amsterdam on Saturday August 23^rd enabling you to go to the show (free) or perhaps visit one of the museums or do some retail. The bus will take us to the NSDM Werf part of Amsterdam where you can board a public transport ferry that will take you in the centre of town. The ferry docks behind Central station, it gives you a birds eye view of the event as you also enter the city via the waterways. The ferry is free.

The member must attend. Please contact the office if you want to bring children along.

Nieuwe Kerk - New Church - A unique view over the Dutch capital.

This year the spire on the roof of De Nieuwe Kerk Amsterdam will be restored. A large platform will be placed on the roof for this restoration. As part of 750 years of Amsterdam, the public will have the unique opportunity to climb the roof of our monument for an unforgettable view of the capital!
