Efteling for members and their family

Every couple of years Prometheus goes to the Efteling, we always choose the Friday after Ascension day as this is a compulsory holiday at the university. We do our best to make this a special day out for our members and their families. It’s an amazing family park to visit, however we are aware that it’s pricey!

That is the reason we are asking members to donate their Albert Heijn Efteling stamps to Prometheus as this is the most cost effective way to purchase tickets.

As we mentioned, this will be a special day. We will meet at the Aula and go to the Efteling in our bus. In the bus the Prometheus team will keep your children and you amused with games.

Once we arrive we go into the park together and your day is free to spend as you wish. We advise you to bring a packed lunch, snack, fruit and some candy. Optional: at the end of the day we will go to the Ravelijn show and then onto the Het wapen van Ravelijn restaurant for a very special dinner, drinks not included, At around 8 pm, after dinner, we will go to back to our bus for the journey back to Delft.

• Please, when registering, do let us know if anybody had a dietary requirements.


• Children 0-3 years (The Efteling may ask for ID) go free. However, you must register them with Prometheus by email. They will have their own seat in the bus.
