40-45 The musical

The musical 40-45 is a story about 2 brothers and the paths their lives took after Rotterdam was bombarded during the war.

The story takes place in Rotterdam just after the First World war.

Brothers Dirk and Louis are born just one year apart and grow up in a warm and close family.

The brothers grow up as best friends and it seams that their friendship is impenetrable.

And then the Second World war breaks out and that leaves distinguishing marks in all families. The family of Dirk and Louis feels the effect as never before.

 The musical is in Dutch and takes place in Barneveld in a purpose built theatre with outstanding special effects.
