Smartphone Nature Photography Workshop

Discover all the beauty hidden in the nature around you—just using your smartphone! During this inspiring workshop, you’ll learn to see nature in a new light and capture surprisingly beautiful photos using simple techniques.

After a brief introduction in Hiske Kamminga’s studio, you’ll head out together into the green surroundings of the Hortus Botanicus. By focusing on light, composition, perspective, and detail, you’ll discover how to get the most out of your smartphone camera. Using a clip-on macro lens—which you can keep after the workshop—you’ll capture flowers, leaves, and unique textures up close.

You’ll learn:
- How to take more beautiful nature photos with your smartphone
- How to observe light, composition, and perspective
- How to work creatively with a clip-on macro lens that you’ll receive
- Simple techniques to make your photos even more impactful
- How to edit your photos with a free app (Snapseed)

The workshop is suitable for both beginners and enthusiastic amateur photographers. Includes coffee, tea, a snack, and a clip-on macro lens.
