Will you bake the Milkmaid’s rolls?
One of the most famous paintings by the Delft-born artist Johannes Vermeer is The Milkmaid (Het Melkmeisje). A beautiful painting. And if you look closely, you’ll see several types of bread in it.
In the Baking with Vermeer workshop, we’ll be making those rolls! The workshop takes place in the bakery on the first floor of the old miller’s house. A fun activity and of course you’ll go home with freshly baked rolls and the recipes, so you can get started at home too.
